Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders : Inspire, Lead Transform

Initiative of Jaina’s Long Range Planning committee

What is Jain Leadership In North America?

Jain Leadership in North America is a forward-looking initiative designed to cultivate strong, visionary leaders within the Jain community.

Key focus areas include:

  • Empowering Leadership: Encouraging Jains across generations to move from personal success to community significance.
  • Preserving Core Values: Promoting the timeless principles of Jainism—Ahimsa (non-violence), Anekantvad (respect for diverse viewpoints), and Aparigraha (non-possessiveness).
  • Strategic Collaboration: Bringing together leaders from organizations like YJA, YJP, and regional Jain centers to build a united front.
  • Sustainability and Growth: Ensuring Jain teachings thrive for generations by adapting to the needs of North American society.
  • Branding Jainism: Developing leadership tools, communication strategies, and initiatives that give Jainism a strong, recognizable identity in the West.

This initiative represents a powerful call to action—to lead with purpose, preserve a rich heritage, and build a meaningful legacy for the future.

Jain Projects 2025: From Success to Significance

The Jain Leadership Forum (JLF) invites inspired individuals from Jain Centers (JCNA) and Jain Organizations (JONA) across North America to take part in Jain Projects 2025 — an initiative to develop and scale impactful projects aligned with our 4E vision: Energize, Educate, Expand, and Evolve the Jain Way of Life.

Building on insights from the 2021 LRP-Jainism survey, participants are encouraged to propose novel ideas as pilot projects or scaled initiatives, using the Plan-Do-Study-Act (ePDSA) methodology. Selected champions will present their proposals at the Jain Leadership Forum in Chicago and receive administrative support and funding ranging from $500 to $5,000.

All projects must be affiliated with JCNA or JONA, and outcomes will be tracked through real-time metrics and evaluated at JLF 2025. This is your opportunity to shape the future of Jainism in North America — with purpose, data, and collaboration.
